Thursday 9:30am to 10:45am Hatha Yoga with Jane
I have been doing yoga for 10 years and fell in love with it from my very first class. I remember vividly, being a beginner and feeling a little stiff and unbalanced. I didn’t develop my practice in my youth, but I feel that helps me relate to those who are older and are new to yoga.
A regular practice has rewarded me so much. I now feel much stronger and more flexible, not just physically, but also in my mind and my heart. I did my 200 hour yoga teacher training last year in Majorca and now feel very passionate about sharing my practice with others and helping them enjoy the benefits of yoga. I would describe my classes as being Hatha based with some Yin style stretches towards the end.
My yoga is strong and steady. I like to keep control over my breath when I practice and I like to teach the same way. I try to make my classes accessible to all, but I also like to challenge yoga students and inspire them to develop their practice.
I include some strong poses, encourage students to progress their practice as much as they want to, but also offer more beginner level options to those who are new.
