A weekend retreat, led by Buddhist monk and author Gelong Thubten, on meditation, mindfulness and how to deepen our commitment to daily practice.

We will explore themes such as how to discover and strengthen our inner spiritual purpose. We can often struggle to meditate every day - life becomes increasingly busy and stressful - there never seems to be enough time. There are powerful methods we can use to transform our attitude towards our meditation practice. Through strengthening our inner commitment, we will always find the time and energy to meditate.

This is an opportunity for a deep-dive into Buddhist philosophy and practice, focusing on some of the themes in Gelong Thubten’s Sunday Times bestselling book ‘A Monk’s Guide to Happiness, Meditation in the 21st Century’.

For those traveling from afar, reasonably priced accommodation is available at the nearby hotels, within walking distance across the park in front of our centre.
